Ukrainian farmers gathered over 65 mln tonnes of grain crops
“As of November 13, Ukrainian farmers threshed 65.1 million tonnes of grain crops from an area of 14.1 million hectares (95%) with a yield of 46.1 centners per ha,” reads the report.
In particular, 34.3 million tonnes of early grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from an area of 9.9 million hectares with a yield of 34.8 centners per ha; 30.0 million tonnes of corn from an area of 4.0 million hectares (87%) with a yield of 75.4 centners per ha; 135 thousand tonnes of buckwheat from an area of 107 thousand hectares (99%) with a yield of 12.6 centners per ha; 78 thousand tonnes of millet from an area of 51 thousand hectares (98%) with a yield of 15.54 centners per ha.
Also, 13.7 million tonnes of sunflower seeds were threshed from an area of 6.0 million hectares (99%) with a yield of 22.7 centners per ha; 4.3 million tonnes of soybeans from an area of 1.7 million hectares (98%) with a yield of 25.7 centners per ha; 2.7 million tonnes of rapeseed from an area of 1.0 million hectares with a yield of 26.1 centners per ha. Also, 12.6 million tonnes of sugar beet were harvested from an area of 256 thousand hectares (92%) with a yield of 492 centners per ha.
As to the sowing campaign, the farmers have already sowed 7.1 million hectares with winter crops (98%), with a projected area of 7.2 million hectares and 1.0 million hectares (116%) with winter rapeseed, with a projected area of 888 thousand hectares.
