PM Groysman: Ukraine-Germany trade turnover could reach EUR 10 bln

"I believe we will be able to reach the turnover of EUR 10 billion in bilateral trade in the next few years," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said during a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He thanked personally Merkel and Germany in general for the support and the level of cooperation and assistance between the two countries.

"From the first day of Russian aggression, from the first day of this terrible trial, we have always felt your personal support and your perseverance. As for the protection of interests of the state and assertion of the international law, all the people of Ukraine treat personally you and Germany with great respect and gratitude as our important strategic partner," Groysman said.

He believes that significant progress is being made in relations between Ukraine and Germany, especially in the economic field. "The role of Germany and your personal role are very important in supporting the reform process in Ukraine," the Head of Government of Ukraine added.
