Vice PM Kubiv: Lviv region in the midst of transit flows from Europe to Asia

“Lviv region is in the top 3 in terms of increasing exports to the EU and Asia. Like the whole of Ukraine, the region confirms its reputation of a reliable partner for doing business and trade, so the region is now in the midst of the transit flows between Europe and Asia and makes a significant contribution to them, using scientific and innovative developments in production,” First Vice Prime Minister - Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said at the briefing before the start of the 18th International Economic Forum in Lviv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The 18th International Economic Forum in Lviv gathered over 1,500 participants from 20 world countries. The exhibition “East and West together” is held within its framework, where traditional products and the latest developments from Donetsk and Luhansk regions are presented. In addition, the energy island - the largest solar power plant in western Ukraine – will be opened during the Forum.
