Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said this during the regional conference "European Integration: The Power of Opportunity" held in Zhytomyr, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“I am glad that 64% of exports from Zhytomyr region are directed to the EU. Most of all, the region exports products to Germany, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic and Finland. You actively challenge the stereotype that Ukraine is a raw and agrarian state. Electric cars make more than 20% of the region’s exports,” Klympush-Tsintsadze said.
According to the vice premier, the region successfully proves that Ukraine is reaching the quality standards of the European market. Consequently, it provides an opportunity to enter other world markets.
