Industrial production in Ukraine grows by 1.8% in nine months

Industrial production in Ukraine grew by 1.8% in the first nine months of 2018, according to the government portal.
"Industrial production in Ukraine continues to grow at a steady pace - by 1.8% in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period last year. These are data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine," the report says.
It notes that the largest figures were shown by the chemical industry (26.6%) and vehicle production (15.1%).
In the regional context, the first positions in the country are occupied by enterprises in Sumy and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
According to the State Statistics Service, industrial production in the country shrank by 0.1% in 2017.
