Vice PM Kubiv: US-Ukraine innovation, energy and infrastructure cooperation could expand

The US-Ukraine cooperation has the potential to expand in the areas of innovation, energy, infrastructure, investment and privatization.

"The cooperation between Ukraine and the United States has the potential to expand in the areas of investment, innovation, energy, infrastructure, privatization in Ukraine and other areas," First Vice Prime Minister - Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv posted on Facebook.

As Kubiv noted, he is now on a working visit to Washington D.C., where he will discuss the expansion of cooperation during the eighth meeting of the Ukraine-US Trade and Investment Council and at the bilateral meetings.

In 2017, Ukraine-US trade increased 1.6-fold compared with 2016 and totaled more than $3.3 billion, the Vice PM added.
