Ukravtodor, EIB to sign agreement on financing construction of bypass road in Ternopil

Such agreement was reached at a working meeting between Head of the State Road Agency of Ukraine Slawomir Nowak and EIB Vice-President Vazil Hudak, according to the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry.

"An agreement on the financing by the European Investment Bank of the project to build the first stage of the Northern bypass road in Ternopil from the M-12 road at the Ternopil-Khmelnytsky section to the M-19 road at the Ternopil-Dubno section will be signed in Brussels on December 17 this year," reads the statement.

The meeting participants also discussed the financing by the EIB of capital repairs of the M-05 road from Bila Tserkva to Uman, the construction of the Northern bypass road in Lviv from M-06 to M-10, and the reconstruction of the M-09 road at the Lviv-Ternopil section to the category of a four-lane highway.

According to the ministry, the EIB leadership highly assessed the implementation by Ukravtodor of current projects financed by EIB loans, in particular, a tender for capital repairs of the M-01 international road from Brovary to Kipti and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
