Agrarian Policy Ministry reports on average monthly salary growth in agricultural sector

In January-August 2018, the average monthly salary in the Ukrainian agricultural sector and food processing industry grew by more than 24%, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reports.
“According to the State Statistics Committee, the average monthly salary in the agricultural sector in January-August 2018 amounted to UAH 6,856, which is 24.6% more compared to the corresponding period last year,” reads the report.
The average monthly salary in the food processing industry for the reporting period reached UAH 8,060, which is 24.2% more than in January- August 2017.
As reported, in January-May 2018, the average monthly salary in the agricultural sector grew by 24%.
