"Ukraine is one of the most energy-intensive economies in the world and it has huge potential for energy saving and energy efficiency," Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze wrote on Facebook.
According to her, the process of creating a modern energy efficiency system in accordance with the EU directives has begun in Ukraine.
"The Regional Development Ministry jointly with GIZ prepared a report on energy efficiency system in Ukraine, which is a thorough analysis of the state and prospects of energy efficiency in various sectors of the economy. The parties also plan to improve the bill on energy efficiency in accordance with the current situation in Ukraine," she clarified.
