Ukraine to participate in energy efficiency forum in Germany
"High-ranking officials, representatives of famous international companies and scientists from more than 150 countries participating in IRENA will discuss the development of clean energy," the press service of the Energy Efficiency Agency reports.
In particular, participants in the forum will discuss the issues of energy for the transport sector, buildings and heating, energy systems based on renewable sources, as well as the use of hydrogen.
Sergiy Savchuk, as the head of the Ukrainian delegation, will represent the achievements of Ukraine in gaining membership in IRENA, in particular, reforms and investment opportunities of Ukraine in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy, and successfully implemented “green” projects in Ukraine. Also, an interactive investment map UA MAP will be presented, with 101 potential projects worth about EUR 4 billion.
