Individuals paid almost UAH 100 mln of luxury car tax in 2018 – State Fiscal Service

Since the start of the year, individuals have paid UAH 97.2 million of luxury car taxes, which is UAH 55.2 million more than in the same period of the last year, the press service of the State Fiscal Service reports.
"In January-July 2018, owners of luxury cars paid UAH 97.2 million of vehicle tax to local budgets. Compared to the corresponding period of the last year, the amount of tax paid grew by more than 2,3 times,” reads the report.
Often, individuals pay taxes on such cars as MERCEDES-BENZ, BMW, LEXUS, AUDI, LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER.
The State Fiscal Service also reminded that individuals paid UAH 132.2 million of luxury car tax to the budgets in 2017.
