Omelyan announces launch of transport innovations center in Ukraine

"We are paying particular attention to the development of digital infrastructure. This year, we launch a large transport innovations center. Ukraine has highly qualified IT experts who work all over the world. The development of digital infrastructure is one of priorities of the Infrastructure Ministry," the minister said at the meeting with representative of DP World and Masdar, the press service of the infrastructure ministry informs.

Omelyan added that the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine supported the implementation of concession projects in Ukrainian ports, which would attract private investors to ports, increase the volume of freight traffic and raise the competitiveness of ports.

The Ukrainian minister expressed his hope for a constructive dialogue with investors regarding practical steps in the development of the infrastructure of Ukraine's seaports.

Representatives of DP World expressed interest in creation and development of a logistics park at the Pivdenny port and in Odesa region.
