This decision was made at a government meeting on Thursday, according to the government portal.
"The government has extended until September 1, 2018 the effect of resolution No. 187 on the approval of the clause on the imposition of special duties on the subjects of the natural gas market to ensure general public interests in the process of functioning of the natural gas market. According to the document, the price of gas for the population remains unchanged," reads the report.
At the same time, the government recalled that gas prices for the population are a key issue in Ukraine's negotiations with the International Monetary Fund. The negotiations are ongoing.
