In a post on his Facebook page, Groysman wrote: “The State Fiscal Service has bought 10 scanning systems for customs. Last year, UAH 1.3 billion was allocated for that. However, due to public bidding through the ProZorro system, scanners were bought for UAH 700 million, UAH 600 million of budget funds were saved.”
According to the prime minister, the scanning systems will be installed at the most loaded border checkpoints on the border with all Ukraine's neighbors. "Scanners will prevent a lot of smuggling schemes, while honest business will only benefit from this,” Groysman wrote.
