Poroshenko meets with leadership of General Electric

President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with the leadership of General Electric, the president’s press service reported on Thursday evening.
The sides discussed the implementation of the contract concluded at the beginning of the year between PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, PJSC Ukreximbank and General Electric US regarding procurement, modernization and leasing of locomotives.
President Poroshenko informed about the opening of the Beskyd railway tunnel, which will expand Ukraine's transport and export opportunities.
General Electric Vice President Jamie Miller praised the course of reforms being carried out in Ukraine, which contribute to the country's development.
Also, the parties discussed the participation of General Electric in the implementation of other projects, in particular, rural medicine project.
