The participants in the meeting discussed the approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU standards in the areas of seed production, plant protection, biotechnologies, etc., as well as practical aspects of implementation and challenges to agriculture in the European Union in connection with the adoption of certain sections of the EU legislation in the agricultural sector.

The parties said that taking into account the deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the field of agriculture, as well as challenges faced by Ukrainian producers in today's conditions, there is a need for constant dialogue between representatives of the authorities and the business community.
