NBU conducts planned measures on preventing corruption

The National Bank of Ukraine is conducting planned measures to prevent corruption.

This was reported by the press service of the NBU.

"In order to implement the Ukrainian legislation and in the framework of the preparation for an updated anti-corruption program, the National Bank periodically evaluates the risk of corruption in its activities. This is stated in the decision of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of May 7, 2018 regarding the assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the National Bank of Ukraine," the statement reads.

The need for such assessment is provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" and by the regulatory legal acts of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

Taking into account the results of the assessment, the National Bank's anti-corruption program will be updated in the near future. The purpose of the anti-corruption program is to improve the system of prevention and counteraction of corruption, ensure compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation at the National Bank.
