Wage arrears in Vinnytsia region reach UAH 16.4 mln

As of April 1, 2018, wage arrears in Vinnytsia region amounted to UAH 16.4 million, according to the Main Department of Statistics in Vinnytsia region.
"The amount of unpaid wages to employees of enterprises and organizations of Vinnytsia region as of April 1, 2018 totaled UAH 16.4 million, which grew by UAH 0.7 million compared with the previous period (until March 1, 2018)," reads the report.
The growth of wage arrears over the month made up 4.4%.
The largest share of wages arrears was recorded at bankrupt enterprises (about 68%), while economically active enterprises owed their employees UAH 4.3 million.
In the sectoral context, the largest amount of unpaid wages was recorded at the region's industrial enterprises - almost 80%.
