Wage arrears at industrial enterprises in Kherson region grow sevenfold

The total amount of wage arrears at industrial enterprises in Kherson region in January-February 2018 grew sevenfold to UAH 7.8 million, according to the region’s main statistics department.
“The total amount of wage arrears at industrial enterprises in Kherson region in January - February 2018 grew sevenfold (by UAH 6.7 million UAH), and as of March 1, 2018, totaled UAH 7.8 million,” the region’s main statistics department reports.
In particular, more than one third of debts (37.1%) was recorded at economically active enterprises of the region, while 62.9% was accumulated by business entities in relation to which the procedures for resuming debtor's solvency or declaring them insolvent were being implemented.
The total amount of wage arrears at economically active industrial enterprises in the region increased by UAH 2.8 million from January 1, 2018, and reached UAH 2.9 million as of March 1, 2018.
