Latvian businessmen interested in working in Ukraine – PM Kučinskis
This statement was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis in Riga, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Latvian businessmen would like to work in Ukraine. For this, we need to strengthen the legislative base, the judicial system and continue reforms,” Kučinskis stressed.
As earlier reported, negotiations between the Ukrainian government delegation and the Latvian delegation were held at the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia on March 1. The key topic of the talks was the strengthening of economic cooperation and exchange of experience in reforms. According to Groysman, the volume of mutual trade in goods and services increased by 27% in 2017 and amounted to more than $460 million.
