Electric car production in Ukraine four times more profitable than in Germany - Kubiv

It is four times more profitable to produce electric cars in Ukraine than in Germany, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv has said.
He stated this at the Ukraine-Bavaria Economic Forum, which is taking place in Munich, according to the Ukrautoprom Association.
"Ukraine has a convenient location and attractive conditions for the production of electric cars with a high localization of production in Ukraine. The production of one such car in Ukraine is four times more profitable than in Germany," Kubiv said.
The Ukrainian market for electric vehicles grew by 2.3 times in 2017 compared with 2016.
