Gas price for Ukrainians may fall in 2020 - Groysman

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman believes that the price of natural gas for Ukrainians may decrease in 2020.
He stated this live on the ICTV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"It is possible to fundamentally do it in 2020, and populistically this can be done at any moment, that is to say that the price will be lower. But if we say it now, then everything will collapse in a year," Groysman said.
According to him, it is first necessary to make a series of concrete steps to ensure economic growth at a level above 5% and then switch to the price for natural gas.
As Ukrinform reported, the prime minister has repeatedly stated that before 2020 Ukraine can completely abandon imported gas and increase domestic production.
