Minimum wage will grow to UAH 3,720 [about USD 134] in 2018 – Groysman

In 2018, a minimum wage will amount UAH 3,720, and an average pension will be UAH 2,786.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at the annual press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"In 2018, we will increase the minimum wage by 17% - from UAH 3,200 to UAH 3,720. The average pension will grow in Ukraine. It was UAH 1,886 before the reform, and now it will amount UAH 2,786," the PM said.

He also expresses hope that the average salary will grow from UAH 7,400 to UAH 10 thousand.

According to Groysman, he will be pleased if the economic growth in 2018 will be more than 3%.

The prime minister adds that it is necessary to focus on economic reforms at the end of winter and in spring.
