Nord Stream 2 poses threat to energy security of the whole of Europe – Poroshenko

The Nord Stream 2 project is a political project and poses threat to the energy security of the whole of Europe.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced this during a press conference with President of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kharkiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We are very grateful to Poland for a common position with regard to the Nord Stream 2. This is a threat not only to the energy security of Ukraine or Poland but to the energy security of the whole of Europe. This is a political project," the Head of State said.
At the same time, he expresses hope that the common position of Ukraine and Poland on this issue along with partners from the EU and the US will be "quite effective" in further steps on energy security.
