Zubko opens international forum on renewable energy

Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko has opened the ninth international business forum Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Industry Modernization.
“The government, president and prime minister have joined the cooperation. But the most important is our consumers. Energy efficiency is a synonym for our country independence. This is our main goal,” Zubko said at the forum in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the year 2017 was a breakthrough for the adoption of a number of needed laws, as well as Ukraine’s Energy Strategy until 2035.
"Reducing tariffs is impossible, but we can reduce the amount of resources consumed," Zubko stressed.
