Domestic producers exported over 40,000 tons of sugar in October

Ukrainian sugar producers exported 42,300 tons of sugar for the second month of the current marketing year, which is 2.5 times larger than in September.
This is reported by the press service of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine.
"In October, the producers exported 2.5 times as much sugar as in the previous month. The Association expects this indicator to continue to increase in the future. The export geography has not changed much as the main Ukrainian sugar importers are Azerbaijan (29%), Sri Lanka (18 %), Tajikistan (9%) and the Sudan (8%)," head of the analytical department of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine Ruslan Butylo comments.
In September-October 2017/2018 MY, the export of Ukrainian sugar totaled 59,300 tons.
