PM Groysman: Draft state budget for 2018 is well-balanced

Groysman said this on the sidelines of the People’s Front political party congress on November 11, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have already submitted the draft budget [for 2018]. It is well-balanced and clearly prioritized. The keystones of this budget are defense, education, healthcare, decentralization, a number of regional projects, preservation of the regional policy, modernization of Ukrainian roads, focus on energy independence. We have been working with the parliamentary committees for several months already, and I see that we will be able to find a common ground. I think we shouldn’t delay the adoption of the budget until the New Year’s Eve. The budget should be passed as soon as possible within the framework of parliamentary procedures," Groysman said.
