Regional Development Ministry starts elaborating Urban Planning Code

The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities held the first meeting dedicated to developing a draft Urban Planning Code of Ukraine, the government’s press service reports.
"At the first meeting of the working group on developing a draft Urban Planning Code of Ukraine, proposals on the future structure and content of this important document were discussed. At present, seven basic laws and separate provisions of about 50 legislative acts regulate the construction activities. And we intend to reach a single integrated format of this important document," Deputy Minister of Regional Development Lev Partskhaladze said.
He also added that the government last time discussed a draft Urban Planning Code back in 2010.
