World Bank expects Ukraine's GDP to grow by 2% in 2017

The World Bank states that Ukrainian economy has stabilized and the economic growth has been restored. 

World Bank Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Satu Kahkonen said this at the Ukrainian Financial Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The World Bank is very impressed with everything that the Government of Ukraine has managed to do over the past three years. The taken measures resulted in stabilization of the economy and restoration of the economic growth. However, the growth is very low. We expect it to be only 2%, this year," Kahkonen said.

As the World Bank Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova stressed, there is no time for delay, and decisive steps should be taken to implement reforms.
