Ukraine pavilion awarded bronze medal at EXPO 2017 Astana

This was reported by the press service of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.

The medals were awarded following the three months of the exhibition. The International Exhibition Bureau defined the best pavilions in two categories: Exhibitory Design and Revelation of the Exhibition Theme. The awards were given to 24 participating states out of 115 countries.

"We are honored to receive the award at such a large-scale exhibition. After a two-year break, Ukraine entered the international exhibition arena and demonstrated a significant potential for the green energy development, its own innovations and promising projects for investment. This is the result of joint efforts of the Government, the Economy Ministry, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and all the companies involved in the exhibition," said Serhiy Savchuk, the Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving and Deputy Commissioner of the National Ukraine Pavilion.

Ukraine presented about 100 investment projects in the field of renewable energy in the Silkway Plaza pavilion at the EXPO 2017 exhibition.
