Purchase prices for milk in Ukraine slightly grew in August

As of August 9, 2017, average purchase prices for milk depending on grade grew by UAH 0.02 to UAH 0.09, depending on milk grade, the association of Milk Producers of Ukraine reports.
“Purchase prices for Extra Grade milk grew up the most. The average price for this grade grew by UAH 0.09 to UAH 8.24 (including VAT). The highest prices were recorded in Sumy region (UAH 8.65 per 1 kg) and Kyiv region (UAH 8.50 per 1 kg.),” reads the report.
Purchase prices for Higher Grade milk grew by UAH 0.07 to UAH 7.95, while the price for Grade I milk increased by UAH 0.02 to UAH 7.67 per kg.
