Hryvnia rate by the end of 2017 may drop to UAH 28.5/$1 - The Bleyzer Foundation

The hryvnia exchange rate may drop to UAH 28.5 per US dollar by the end of 2017.
Oleh Ustenko, Executive Director of The Bleyzer Foundation, stated this at a press conference on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We admit that at the best, the exchange rate should be maintained at UAH 28.5 per US dollar by the end of the year,” Ustenko said.
He noted that the average hryvnia exchange rate is projected at UAH 27.2 per dollar in the 2017 national budget.
"By the end of the year, we should raise it to at least [UAH] 28.5 so that to withstand the budget parameter envisaged in the budget," Ustenko said.
