Belarus intends to increase trade turnover with Ukraine up to almost $8 bn in two years

The Republic of Belarus plans to increase the overall trade turnover with Ukraine to the level of 2012 – $7.9 billion – in two years.
Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said this at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Belarusian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I believe that the potential of Ukraine and Belarus allows us to reach the record figures we had in 2012 – $7.9 billion – in the next two years," Semashko said.
He added that Ukraine and Belarus had increased the volume of trade turnover by 26.7% for the first five months of 2017.
