Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk and IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde have discussed further cooperation within the framework of the IMF program.

The Minister wrote this on his Facebook page.

"My meeting with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde has just finished. We discussed further cooperation within the framework of the IMF program, particularly, pension and land reforms, privatization, tackling corruption and the reform of the State Fiscal Service. I’ve noted that the pension reform will be approved in the near future as all the disputed issues have already been resolved and all the parties support the proposed reform. The bill on privatization has already been adopted by the Government and will soon be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada," Danyliuk wrote.

According to the Minister, the parties discussed the launch of comprehensive reform of the State Fiscal Service with the support of the IMF. The reform is inter alia aimed at tackling corruption and improving tax administration.
