Vice PM Zubko: 216 local programs partially compensate for energy efficiency credits

Along with state special programs, 216 municipal programs on issuing energy efficiency credits operate in Ukraine.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko stated this during Government Question Hour meeting held in Parliament today, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Apart from the energy efficiency credit program, apart from a possible establishment of the Energy Efficiency Fund, we developed a system of municipal programs, and municipal councils approved these programs so that to support their citizens,” Minister Zubko said.
According to him, at present there are 216 such programs that partially compensate citizens for their costs on energy efficiency credits (while in some cities even fully).
