Number of branches of Ukrainian banks reduced by 305 in Q1 2017

The number of bank branches in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2017 decreased by 305 units, the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reports.
As of January 1, 2017, the number of structural branches of banks in Ukraine totaled 10,316, and on April 1, 2017, its number decreased to 10,011.
In particular, in January-March 2017, the leader in the number of bank branches that were closed was Oshchadbank. As of January 1, 2017, the number of structural branches of Oshchadbank totaled 3,648, while on April 1, 2017, its number reduced to 3,528.
