President Poroshenko: We must ensure transparency of VAT refund system

April 1, the automatic register of VAT refund starts functioning in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has stated that legislative amendments adopted in 2016 must launch the system of transparent and efficient VAT refund.
President stated this at the meeting of the National Council of Reforms on March 31, the press service of the Head of State reports.
“We shouldn’t just open the register. We must ensure absolute transparency of the order of VAT refund. The earlier you apply for the refund – the earlier you get it,” the Head of State said.
Poroshenko assured that maximum efforts are required to launch a three-month trial mode of transparent VAT refund and then to ensure its implementation in full.
“Protecting the interests of the state budget, business, taxpayers must be guaranteed in full,” the Head of State emphasized.
