The strategy for reforming PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia until 2021 should be submitted to Government in a week.

Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun wrote this on his Facebook page.

"The strategic goals of the reform have been determined, the methods for their achievement have been chosen. We must work on the terms and deadlines. I’d like it to be done quickly, it is desirable that an improved version be ready in a week so that it could be represented to the government and society," he wrote.

According to him, when developing the strategy, the company's management proceeded from the fact that Ukrzaliznytsia is a key strategic asset of the state.

“The strategic goal of the reform is to improve financial and economic stability through stable development and an increase in revenues and profitability of the business. The main direction of the reform is the transition to a vertically integrated structure. A target business model will be built on five business verticals, in particular: freight transportation and logistics, passenger transportation, infrastructure, hauled service, production and service,” Balczun said.
