Ukrzaliznytsia sees a 9% increase in cargo transportation in 2017

In January-February 2017, PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrainian railways, transported 53.7 million tonnes of cargo, which is by 9% more compared with the same period last year, according to a report on the company’s website.
In particular, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 26 million tonnes of cargo within the country, which is by 10.1% more than In January-February 2016, 6 million tonnes for imports (at the level of last year’s), 18.6 million tonnes for exports (110.3%) and more than 3 million tonnes of transit cargo (111.4%).
