The trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey has come to almost $4 billion, retaining the tendency to decrease by 20-25% annually.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey Andrii Sybiha has stated this during his speech within the framework of the 'Diplomacy without Borders' project of the Ukraine Crisis Media Center and the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The trade turnover between our countries is almost $4 billion today. Unfortunately, we have been recording a downward trend in terms of bilateral trade turnover in recent years. In particular, it drops by 20-25% in average annually,” Sybiha said.

According to him, the major task today is to stop the negative trend and lay the basis for mutual trade turnover growth.

However, Sybiha also noted that Ukraine maintains a positive balance of trade turnover with Turkey.
