Minister Kutovyi praises new system of state support for agriculture

The introduction a new system of state support for the agriculture sector was the main achievement for the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry in 2016.
Taras Kutovyi, the Agrarian Policy and Food Minister wrote this on his Facebook page.
"Our main achievement is the introduction of a new system of state support for the agriculture," the minister wrote.
According to him, according to this system, every year at least 1% of the gross agricultural production value will be envisaged in the national budget to finance the agrarian sector.
"This year a total of UAH 5.5 billion has been already allocated to support [the sector] - by 20 times more than in the previous year,” he said.
