Сompanies owe about UAH 23 bln in debts to Naftogaz

As of December 6, 2016, the total outstanding debt of companies to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine was estimated at UAH 23 billion, the press service of Naftogaz reports.
"As of December 6, 2016, the total outstanding debt of heating supply companies, combined heat and power plants and direct industrial consumers to Naftogaz of Ukraine amounted to about UAH 23 billion. The debt decreased by UAH 478 million (2.0%) compared to the previous week,” reads a report.
The debt of heating supply companies, combined heat and power plants for gas used to generate heat totals about 82% of the general sum of debt. At the same time, the debt of combined heat and power plants for gas used to generate heat totals 10%, and the debt of direct consumers is about 8%.
In addition, the debt of PJSC Kyivenergo for gas used to generate heat and electricity decreased by UAH 94 million (6%) over the last week, to UAH 1, 470 million.
