Ukrainian government not to cancel taxation of pensions

The Government of Ukraine will not cancel taxation of pensions due to a significant deficit of the Pension Fund.
This was stated by Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andriy Reva at a meeting with representatives of regional media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We still cannot abolish the taxation of pensions, but this question will be on the agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers in the future," the Minister said.
According to Reva, difficulties in abolishing taxation are associated with a significant deficit of the Pension Fund at the level of UAH 145 billion, which is to be financed from the state budget.
