Dutch Insurance Company sells business in Ukraine

Dutch Insurance Company Aegon entered into an agreement to sell 100% of its shares of Aegon Life Ukraine to TAS Group, and exit the Ukrainian market.

Thus has been stated in a press release by the company, the Voice of America reports.

“TAS Group will merge the business of Aegon Life Ukraine with its existing life insurer under the brand TAS Life. All the existing agreements with clients will continue to have effect on the same terms,” reads a report.

The sides have agreed not to disclose the terms and conditions of the transaction.

Businessman and politician Serhiy Tihipko is the founder and main shareholder of the TAS group. Earlier, he sold his insurance business in Cyprus, according to the report.
