PM Groysman: Roads are matter of national importance

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman posted this on his Facebook page.

"Everybody drive along Ukrainian roads. Therefore, the quality of roads is the matter of national importance and will always be in the focus of government's attention. Road sector is still in poor condition. Our task is to revive it," Groysman wrote.

According to him, the authorities working in this direction, and the volume and geography of road works have been already increased.

"At the same time, we launched a systematic monitoring over the quality of performed works and efficiency of expenditure. Since August 1, the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) and other state agencies have started to work within ProZorro public e-procurement system,” the Head of Government noted.
