U.S. expects Ukraine to adopt legislation on electricity market next fall – Ambassador Pyatt

The law on electricity market has to be passed by the Ukrainian Parliament in the fall, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt told the participants of the Ukrainian Energy Conference, Ukrinform has reported.
"We have positively evaluated the law on the natural gas market, but it is essential to continue transforming the energy market. The new law on electricity market ought to be adopted in the fall. The United States supports it," the diplomat said.
