Poroshenko charges Yatsenyuk with resuming Odesa “porto-franco”

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has charged Prime Minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk with elaborating the issue on creating a free customs zone at Odesa Sea Trading Port.

The President said in a response to an online petition “To establish a free economic zone “porto-franco” in sovereign Ukraine at Odesa Sea Trading Port,” posted on the official website of the Ukrainian President.

“Ukrainian Prime Minister is charged with ensuring comprehensive and fundamental elaboration of the issue on financial and economic impact of creation of a free customs area at Odesa Sea Trading Port and approving a relevant decision following the carryout out work,” reads a report.
