Ukraine's automotive manufacturing falls by 43% in 2014, Ukravtoprom reports

The press service of Ukrainian Association of Automobile Manufacturers Ukravtoprom has reported as quoted.

"The steepest decline saw bus segment of Ukrainian automotive industry with only 906 buses assembled or 63.5% less than in 2013. Annual output of " Cherkasky avtobus factory was 347 , the highest number among bus manufacturers in the country with 38% of the market share," the report says.

Car manufacturing decreased by 43.3% to 25,941 cars in 2014. The majority of cars were assembled at Zaporizhia automotive factory totaling 12,779 cars or 49% of the annual production for this type of vehicles in Ukraine.

Commercial vehicles manufacturing totaled 1,904 vehicles, the smallest drop of 15.2%. AvtoKrAZ,the absolute leader in manufacturing commercial vehicles rolled out 1,388 trucks in 2014 or 73% of the market share of assembled trucks for the industry division in the country.
