Belorusneft sets up oilfield service subsidiary in Ukraine

. At the end of last year, the production association Belorusneft completed registration in Ukraine of a subsidiary oilfield service company, Service Oil, the press-service of the company reported.

"Service Oil will provide services to Ukrainian companies in the field of oil and gas business, including drilling and workover, hydraulic fracturing operations, seismic exploration, processing and interpretation of seismic data. The possibility is also considered for production and exploration drilling for oil and gas," the press service says.

Belorusneft is the leading oil producer in Belarus, working in oil production for more than 40 years. The structure of Belorusneft includes a gas processing plant, an industry research institute and high-tech service divisions.

In June 2010, Belorusneft created LLC Belorusneft-Ukraine to increase the volume of exports of oil products from Belarusian refineries.

In March 2010, for the sale of petroleum products in Ukraine, CJSC Belarusian Oil Company established LLC BNK-Ukraine. The shareholders of CJSC Belarusian Oil Company are PA Belorusneft, OJSC Naftan, OJSC Mozyr Oil Refinery and Belarusian Oil Trade House.
