AeroSvit is continuing to operate and fulfill its current obligations to counteragents, the airline's press service has reported

KYIV, January 4 /UKRINFORM/. AeroSvit is continuing to operate and fulfill its current obligations to counteragents, the airline's press service has reported.

"The airline is currently not bankrupt. AeroSvit does not stop its activity and will continue to fulfill its current obligations to counteragents," reads the statement.

The statement says that the airline's management is continuing to operate in its former composition and that all procedures on ensuring the company's activity, including flight safety, are being conducted in full.

"AeroSvit Airlines filed an application to the Commercial Court of Kyiv region regarding the opening of a case on bankruptcy in order to launch the procedure of readjustment, restore the solvency and ensure the fulfillment of obligations to creditors in full," the press service recalled.

The statement notes that the planned readjustment of the company is part of the reforms initiated by the airline in order to update its operating efficiency and improve profitability.

On December 29, 2012, the Commercial Court of Kyiv region launched proceedings in the case on the bankruptcy of PJSC AeroSvit Airlines.
